In 2003 Siva Sakthi Ammaiyar came to Tiruvannamalai to live in
an Ashram, which was set up in a colony near to
Rama Marharshi's
Ashrama at the foot of the holiest mountain of India,
Arunachala. Ammayiar is a Shiva devotee, spent many years in prayer and
meditation until she finally realized her true Self and merged with
the divine. After har realization, Sri Ammaiyar spent a few years in
silence at Perumal Hill, a holy hill in Salem District, Tamil Nadu,
south India.
